Valentines Day Gift Ideas

Valentine's Day isn't something that I'm that fussed over - being a single girl it's not top of my favourite times of the year!
This year I thought why not put a post together showcasing items that I'd be pleased to receive if I was attached.
From a fabulous Heart shaped mug from TK Maxx to the latest makeup book from Lisa Eldridge, to the newly released Magnitone London Barefaced to fabulous makeup from Glo and Ray.
There's something for every budget in my picks.
Let's delve in...

Lisa Eldridge - what can I say! She's a makeup genius, and she is the reason why I found the French Pharmacy mothership in Paris, and she is a total product junkie like me.
Her book Face Paint: The Story of Makeup offers the reader not only the history of makeup, but Lisa's makeup know how too.
The photography of this book is also stunning.
A total steal at £12.91 for a hardcover from Amazon 'Here'

My love of Magnitone London still doesn't seem to fade, since my first Lucid brush to the new Barefaced offering they really have upped their game.
The Vibra-Sonic brush offers facial cleansing and toning with 2 modes, it's travel ready and completely waterproof.
As a person with dry skin, this little pink marvel sloughs of the dry patches, and refreshes my complexion.  I just can't be without it!
The Magnitone Barefaced comes in 3 pastel colours for £70.00 'Here' beautifully packaged and it's charged ready to use, it makes the perfect gift for any beauty lover.
I cannot be without mine and take it on all trips with me now.
Have you tried Magnitone London before?
This gorgeous heart shaped mug in the picture above is literally like a bowl with a handle! and it is by the brand Sabichi at TK Maxx.  Handpainted too, it's sooo cute!
TK Maxx offers fab themed products for anytime of year, so this mug was a must have for me.
I purchased this beauty twice, and then a spotty mug in the same colour scheme.
Have you checked out TK Maxx before for fab gifts?
Unfortunately TK Maxx online doesn't stock this range of mugs, but I've had a look online and I have found the Sabichi range and these mugs - two for £6.99 'Here'
Lastly is makeup, it wouldn't be a Claire blog post without a mention of some beauty products would it?
This time an amazing makeup brand Glo and Ray, they offer themed gifts for anytime of year.
This time for Valentine's Day they offer complimentary products from lipstick to eyebrows they have it covered!
I was lucky enough to try two products from the Valentines Range 'Pretty in Pink' a gorgeous La Amo Creamy shimmer Lip Colour in Honey that is a your-lips-but-better nude shade that's highly pigmented and moisturising for £12.00 'Here'
Lastly the Glo and Ray Fumo silky eyebrow pencil in Terra Brown for £5.50 'Here' a fantastic easy to apply eyebrow pencil which enables you to draw 'hair like' lines to fill in your brows.

I adore Glo and Ray, I have worked with them before and their products are gorgeous and should be a  much higher price point because their quality is fantastic.
So there you go, my little picks of what i'd buy myself over the romantic period!
How are you spending Valentine's Day this year?
Do you have any nice plans?

(Thanks to Glo and Ray and Magnitone London for allowing me to review their products for this post)
