The New Thing - Max Factor Creme Puff Blusher

I thought I would start a new series, much like my skincare series that has been going for 2 weeks now which you can view my Top 3 Day Creams 'Here' and My Top 3 Cleaners 'Here'.
A post called "The New Thing" will feature just that - whatever is new to me that week, or month that I want to share with you.
This week I thought I would write about the Max Factor Creme Puff Blushers.
I only have one of these beauties, simply because none of the other shades caught my eye.
So lets delve into this pretty blush..

bareMinerals 7 Piece Everyday Flawless Make-up Collection - Review and Video

I adore bareMinerals.  The fact that they are natural products, are good for your skin and offer SPF speaks volumes to me.
The only downside with mineral makeup is the mess of the powder, but after years of use - and most recently getting back into mineral makeup 'the mess' is forgotten about and my faith in bareMinerals has returned, all thanks to this amazing kit from QVC and bareMinerals.

Offered as a TSV some weeks back, I purchased the kit thinking that I'd only use one or two products.  I've ended up using everything in the kit, I just can't get enough. of it!

For a closer look.. let's delve into the products contained in the 7 piece Everyday Flawless Collection.

My Top 3 Day Creams

Day Creams are hard to find, to suit my combination (to dry) skin type.
They either leave my skin with a film of cream on it, which means I then have to use a primer; or they are not moisturising enough and my skin still feels dry, and then my foundation sticks to the dry patches. (not a good look!)
I think I've found 3 day creams that offer the moisturisation my dry skin needs, but are the sort of creams that sink in quickly and enable me to apply my foundation without any problems.

My Little Box Review - April 2015

Leighton Denny Expert Nails - An Essential Part Of My At Home Manicure

I adore everything nails.
My collection of nail lacquers is forever growing and I've had to completely re-think my nail polish storage, simply because there was no real place for anything!
I'm always looking to ‘up’ my nail polish game, and when I purchased a kit from Leighton Denny and QVC I had high hopes.

Two products in particular stood out to me, these being the Crystal Clear Top Coat and the Nail Polish Remover.
I have owned the Crystal Clear Nail File for over 3 years so I was well informed of the Leighton Denny range and its performance, just going on the crystal nail file itself.
So what else has caught my eye about the Leighton Denny range?

My Top 3 Cleansers

I adore cleansers.  My favourite time of night is when I “take my face off” by cleansing, and I really treat my skin to a thorough wash, and then a facial massage.

I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to making sure that everything is removed from my skin thoroughly, when I cleanse at night time.  Purely because I want to make sure that my canvas (AKA my face) is prepared ready for whatever night cream, serum or oil I want to put on it, then I'm ready for bed.

February and March 2015 Monthly Favourites

It's that time again, when I round up two months worth of beauty, fashion and homewares for you lovely lot and tell you why I love them so much.  This month is no exception!

Introducing Bimuno and Competition!

Lets talk about tummies!  Not something that's discussed that much in the beauty blogging world, but one, out of years of suffering with IBS - I can totally relate too.  I am always looking for things to help me, that's where I came across Bimuno prebiotics  They produce a range of prebiotics that help people to maintain digestive balance and general wellbeing. Unlike probiotics, which “top up” the good bacteria in your gut, Bimuno products “feed” pre-existing good bacteria and help them thrive.

There is something to help everyone.  And best of all the range is stocked in Boots and Superdrug too, and Bimuno is available as a range of soft chewable pastilles and a flavourless prebiotic powder that mixes into your everyday food or beverages.
