L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga Mascara Review

Now there has been a lot of hype about this product in the bloggersphere, I picked it up on a whim the same day as I purchased the L'Oreal Balmy Gloss that I have reviewed for you guys previously Here.

I picked up the black colour, because this is my go-to mascara shade, and the main reason I bought this was because the brush on the mascara reminded me of my favourite Lancome mascara but for a lot cheaper!

The Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara says that it creates mega volume on the top and bottom lashes with ultimate hold.  With L'Oreal's exclusive formula, it is made up of enlarging collagen spheres which work perfectly in conjunction with the 360° flexible cone shaped brush to amplify upper lashes and reveal lower lashes.

The exclusive formula also contains a trilogy of polymers for absolute hold and staying power.

I don't agree with the statement above at all!  (this was taken from the Boots website)

Firstly the brush - yes it reminds me of the Lancome mascara that I cannot afford to keep repurchasing (Here for £22.50!!) but other than that, the similarities end.

The wand moves! It's the most stupid thing I have ever seen on a mascara, why on earth would you want a wand to move when you are applying your mascara?  The more rigid the wand, the better (in my book) because that way there is less errors upon application and more wand control. (I sound all Harry Potter talking about wands!!)

Here's a picture of me below, after applying one coat of this mascara onto my left eye so that you can see the lash coverage in more detail.

And here's my left eye with two coats of the mascara below.

I just don't find the consistency of the mascara good enough, it is a very wet and flaky consistency which takes a long time to dry.

Yes it adds some volume to my lashes as you can see in the profile picture below but other than that not much to write home about!

You can pick up the L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga Mascara from Boots for £8.99 'Here' if it were me, I wouldn't purchase this mascara again.

Save your money for something better like Max Factors False Lash Effect mascara 'Here' from £10.99.

Have you tried this mascara yourself?

If so what did you think?
