I really enjoy finding fabulous new websites for beauty fanatics like me.
When the team at makeupbrushes.co.uk got in touch, telling me about their amazing one-stop-shop for makeup brushes - I couldn't wait to visit the site and see what brands they had on offer!
Real Techniques Bold Metals, Japonesque, So Eco, and Brush Works to name just a few!
A small company based in Wales, makeupbrushes.co.uk offer branded makeup brushes of high quality, but at an amazing price with fast delivery.
The site also offers -
- Free 1st Class delivery on every order in the UK, with no exceptions
- They only sell 100% genuine products sourced directly from brands
- Fast dispatch, order before 2pm Monday to Friday for same day dispatch
- Over 600 products in stock
- They are always adding exciting new products, brands and collections (with some huge brands being added in the next couple of months!)
What's not to love?
I was lucky enough to be sent some Brush Works, Ecotools and Real Techniques brushes to try - the delivery came incredibly quickly and was packaged really well.
Trying new brushes from brands I have never used before is such a great treat.
First up (above) the Brush Works Powder Brush £6.99 'Here' - a soft bristled brush that can be used for everything, from body contouring to finishing powder.
This brush is baby soft, and carries product really easily. I love it!
Next up (above) another makeup brush brand I haven't used before - So Eco.
This double ended foundation and concealer brush I use everyday, it simply picks up foundation and applies it evenly, the same goes for the precise concealer brush.
No shedding with a pliable nature - this double ended brush works wonders in the morning.
You can pick this nifty brush up for £7.50 'Here'
I'm intrigued to try more from the So Eco brush range - you can find the full range 'Here'
Another travel friendly set from So Eco is this handy 5 piece eye brush kit.
Housed in a elastic and popper flapover purse, the set contains everything you need - a concealer brush, eye shading brush, angled eyeliner, mascara comb and a lash and brow comb.
The components have been responsibly and ethically sourced, the brushes are presented in eco friendly packaging using sustainable/bio-degradable materials from PEFC sources.
What's more the packaging is 100% recyclable.
Handy for the makeup bag, this set keeps everything neatly together.
This lovely 5 piece kit can be purchased for £12.50 'Here'
Last is a range (which I'm sure you are all well aware of) Real Techniques.
A range designed and created by one of the Pixiwoo sisters, it's range of brushes I have sworn by for years now.
When given the opportunity to pick one brush out of the range I opted for the sculpting brush.
A gorgeous soft angled brush that will really help me to contour and highlight accurately - this brush is just a pleasure to use.
I have been using this brush for over a week now, and I have used it so much - I have had to wash it once already!
It glides bronzer or highlighter on to your cheeks with ease, with no brush shedding (one of my pet peeves) this brush I can see being a permanent part of my daily face kit.
This fab Sculpting Brush is £8.99 'Here'
The Bold Metals range from Real Techniques is also available to buy through makeupbrushes.co.uk - and 'this kit' in partciluar is definately on my wish list!
So there you have it, a fantastic website offering tons of makeup brush choice. (they even stock fake eyelashes too)
Free delivery, and an extremely easy to navigate website means that I can see makeupbrushes.co.uk going from strength to strength.
What's your favourite makeup brush brand?
Any recommendations?
