Antipodes is a brand that I have heard tons about, throughout my time as a beauty and lifestyle blogger.
A New Zealand brand, that offers certified organic and premium natural skincare, (and makeup) it is sold in 12 countries internationally.
The brand was developed by Wellington based founder Elizabeth Barbalich just eight years ago, there are now 26 skincare products, five natural mineral foundations and six lipsticks in the Antipodes range.
Being a skincare junkie, I have ALWAYS wanted to try the Aura Manuka Honey Mask.
I have heard tons of rave reviews about it's multifunctional skincare benefits.
When a PR got in touch and asked if I'd like to try some products from the range to review, I was absolutely thrilled.
Let's delve into this amazing range...
Grapeseed Butter Cleanser
£24.99 / 75ml
With grapeseed butter, Cacao Powder and Vinanza Grape® antioxidant from New Zealand's sauvignon blanc grape seeds. This luxurious cleanser helps to repair free radical damage, and its scientifically shown to have amongst the world's highest levels of antioxidants from grape seeds.
It comes with a mini spatula, so no dirty fingers in pots! A little of this cleanser goes a long way - massaged into dry skin and then adding water, it emulsifies the butter and means that you can really work it into the skin and get a really good facial massage. You can remove eye make up with it, but I find eye makeup residue left over, so I would recommend using a separate eye makeup remover to ensure proper removal.
Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask £22.99 / 75ml
A deeply moisturising, cleansing and anti-oxidising treatment.
Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask features a traditional remedy of New Zealand Maori people, manuka honey, which powerfully draws moisture to your skin to hydrate it intensely. Fragrances of vanilla pod and mandarin linger to bring peace and balance to your aura - meaning you're tending both your skin and your spirit.
This mask is a pure joy to use, I must confess that I love the scent and the hydrating properties so much that I leave it on overnight. Whilst it hydrates it also helps clear imperfections. Dual purpose masks are right up my street! This is becoming a holy grail product in my skincare regime.
Last but by no means least I received -
Hosanna H2O Intensive Skin-Plumping Serum
£28.99 / 30ml
Hosanna H2O Intensive is a Waiwera water-charged, oil-free bioactive serum that immediately quenches thirsty skin by delivering pure hydration to skin cells. Its plumping, smoothing and softening action builds with regular daily use to intensively improve the skin’s appearance over time. It has been scientifically proven to boost type 1 collagen production by up to 72%.
Hosanna features revolutionary anti-ageing antioxidant Vinanza Grape®, a natural grape seed extract which helps keep skin protected from the damage caused by environmental aggressors and pollutants. The ultra-hydrating serum also contains mamaku black fern, an ingredient native to New Zealand that helps foster healthy cell renewal.
I love the light texture of this serum, it simply sinks into my dry skin. It makes a great base for make-up because it evens out the skin tone, and refreshes the skin.
I am really impressed by the Antipodes range. Skincare connected with nature that really works.
The packaging is beautiful, but functional. I'm slightly addicted to the Aura Manuka Honey Mask, and I think it'll be a permanent fixture in my skincare stash!
