The New Thing - Deborah Lippmann Shifting Sands Nail Polish

As an avid reader of my blog, you'll know that I'm obsessed with nail polishes.
I must have around 300 in my collection, I simply cannot get enough - trialling new formulations and brands, fills me with as much joy as trying a new cleanser!

When the team at Beauty Expert got in touch and offered me something new - in the nail polish department; how could I say no?  Low and behold a little jiffy bag arrived, and inside it was the most beautiful muted beige shade by Deborah Lippmann.
I have one other Deborah Lippmann nail polish in my collection, (from about 5 years ago and courtesy of a GlossyBox).  But it's a rather 'festive' red glitter and one which I don't reach for that often.
The Shifting Sands colour from Deborah is just beautiful - a gorgeous square shaped bottle with a matte lid, which enables you to apply the polish with ease.
Within one coat the sand shade is slightly opaque, but two coats definitely shows the true colour.  What's more, the range offers no toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor or DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate).  And no animal testing.
I am no nail technician, but the image below (although badly painted) - shows you the gorgeous colour and all it's glossiness.
You can check out the complete range from Deborah Lippmann 'Here'
I've even seen the beautiful Alix from blog I Covet Thee wearing the Shifting Sands shade in her recent YouTube videos - so it must be good!

You can pick up this stunning shade from BeautyExpert.com for £16.00 for 15ml 'Here'
Have you tried anything from the Deborah Lippmann range before?

  3. That is stunning! I have one DL polish in Las Vegas which is a greige/beige. I adore the formulation but DL is so pricey here so I only have the one. I'll definitely checkout Shifting Sands if I can find it. I think its a totes up my street shade. Thanks Claire.💅🏻
