I am always looking for a suncream that’ll offer the protection benefits that I need, but one that also offers a great base for my make up to adhere too.

SPF 26 for the face is a good starting block, I already use a mineral foundation with an SPF of 15 built in, and so to top that up; this sunscreen means added benefits including UVA and UVB protection.
(UVB, the chief cause of skin reddening and sunburn, tends to damage the skin's more superficial epidermal layers. And UVA, which penetrates the skin more deeply than UVB, has long been known to play a major part in skin aging and wrinkling.)
They do not test on animals
