I've never really purchased many drug store foundations before I have always stuck with Bare Minerals or YSL Touche Eclat.
I heard Tanya Burr mention the Revlon Colorstay foundation in a tutorial and she said it was her go-to foundation as it s very similar to the NARS Sheer Glow but much more affordable!
So off I went to Superdrug, I swatched and nosed at the range and my post below explains what I thought.
Yeah kinda sums me up at the moment the below photo!
As you can see below I have pigmentation from freckles under my eyes as well as a few breakouts and some horrid open pores on my nose
I picked up the colorstay in 150 Buff for normal / dry skin, the range is also available for oily / combination skins 'Here'The consistency of this foundation is light in texture but medium in coverage, I really like its build-ability, the fact that you can put three layers of this on and you still do not look overly made up.
The photo below shows that with one application it has covered my dark circles, covered my open pores and brightened up my complexion.
The foundation also has an SPF of 20, which is higher than some of the other drug store foundations out there, I find that it doesn't give me any flash back if someone takes a photo of me.
Now I know that Buff is my shade in this brand I really want to try other foundations from the range.
You can find the full Revlon foundation range from Superdrug 'Here' colourstay is £12.49 currently in a deal buy one get one 1/2 price - even better!
