THE PROCRASTINATING BEAUTY BLOGGER TAG

I saw this tag on The Beau Bow's blog and thought I should give it a try!

              Rules:
1. Thank the tagger and link them in the post.
2. State that this tag was created by The Beau Bow.
3. Copy and paste the rules.
4. Tag some more beauty bloggers and link them to the post.
5. Title this The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Post so readers know what the post is about.
6. Have fun!

I wasn't tagged by anyone but I really enjoyed  reading the answers from the other bloggers who took part!

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.
Hmmm I try (trying being the operative word) to put a hair mask on every Sunday night and sleep in it and wash it out Monday morning.  At the moment I am trying to get into this routine as my hair was black for 5 1/2 years and now I am trying to go blonder, so my poor old hair needs all the help it can get!  I am currently using coconut oil which I purchased from Amazon 'Here' it's an amazing product and really helps to condition my hair.  I shall do a blog post all about it soon!

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something you do regularly?
I try to wash my make up brushes using Dr Bronners soap 'Here' for £3.45 at least twice a month, it really does the job well and smells gorgeous, I would highly recommend it.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Oh jeez, if most of my nails are chipped I usually pick the polish off whilst in my car, stuck in traffic! I HATE chipped polish and no matter what top coat I use it always chips. :-(  The only stuff which lasts is Red Carpet Manicure!

4. How long do you put off buying/ replacing a beauty or nail polish product, even if you need it? (E.g. purchasing a new top coat or foundation).
I will replace it as soon as it runs out, but I check my stocks first to see if I have a replacement or an alternative that I can review in the process for you guys.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Picking my spots - damn you 7x magnification mirror!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off all the time.
Hoovering - I love to hoover but since moving I can't navigate around all the boxes I need to unpack, so currently I only hoover a small section of floor which kind of defeats the object.

7. When going out somewhere do you leave getting ready to last minute or not?
Oh no, I can't rush around so I make sure I have allocated enough time to feel at my best.

8. Can you commit to a spending ban?
I try to budget myself every month for food and petrol and a little treat here and there, so this is something that I regularly do anyway.

9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collection?
My make up and nail polish  collections are all stored in the IKEA Helmer metal filing cabinet 'Here'  which sets you back a reasonable £25.00.  The white colour enables the unit to blend into the background of your room and for the organisation of the unit I use the Antonius transparent basket insert also from IKEA 'Here' for £1.70.  Which enables me to separate all my make-up into sections and it is so cheap you can buy extras and use them to organise your bedside table, desk drawers etc.
I would highly recommend the Helmer and the Antonius together.  Charlotte from Lipglossiping blog compiled a really interesting blog post about this storage idea 'Here'

The lovely bloggers I tag are:

Emma from Meet the Millards

  1. this is a good tag! im terrible at procrastination... espesh with things i just dont wanna do (like work... i REALLY shoulda married rich when i had the chance...) beauty stuff tho i tend to be pretty religious about... altho i sympathise with the hair mask thang. it's one of those things i mean to do and then something else crops up and it's like 'no... i can't leave it on all night tonight' xxx
