Tag: I'm a Beauty Blogger, Get Me Out of Here!

I first saw this tag on Shona's blog Fresh Beauty XOX and loved reading her answers.

I watch I'm a celebrity religiously, I even record it on my TIVO box.
I love Ant and Dec and the banter that they have with each other,
I also love the I'm a celebrity get me out of here NOW! programme as I love Laura Whitmore and like to see what she's wearing!

I don't take part in many tag posts and liked the look of this one so here you go guys....

(The tag originated on Next Route Style's blog.)

You can only take one product into the jungle. What item would you choose and
why?
I''d definitely choose sun cream, I burn really easily and then once I've peeled (how glamorous) I am then quite tanned.
I don't see many of the celebs in the jungle using sun-cream, so I don't know if the programme supplies it to them?  I'd probably opt for the biggest bottle of factor 50 I could find!

What would be your main pre-jungle worry?
I HATE spiders, and going under water - both of these things petrify me immensely.  I'd be no good at under water challenges and would definitely opt out of them, and spiders would probably make me vomit or pass out I can't stand them.

You only have 5 minutes to get ready before going into the jungle, what would be your quick beauty routine?
I'd slather on face cream / sun cream onto my face, stick my hair in a bun or plaits and put some concealer on.  I don't see the point in going OTT with the make up because it will only melt off!

Last year we saw Helen Flanagan wearing her hair in a top bun. What would be your signature hairstyle?
I think either a fish tail plait, as its a tight plait and will keep things out of my hair, or just a simple bun to keep my hair out of the sun and also from the bugs.

For moral support, which female celebrity would you like to be in the jungle with you?
I would go for someone sporty, like an Olympian.  They are used to tough challenges, and getting the best out of there bodies and would be strong in character too so someone like Rebecca Adlington whose already in the jungle and seems lovely would suit me fine.

Everyone's given a role in the camp. What lifestyle skill would you bring to the jungle with you?
Tidiness, washing up and fish tail plait hairdresser! LOL!  I don't mind what I do apart from cleaning out the dunny.

What one thing about being a beauty blogger sometimes makes you want to scream 'Get me out of here'?
Clickyness at events.  Sometimes you just get fed up with the competitiveness of this industry.  At the end of the day its not a competition, its about meeting new people and making friends to me.  Some people who blog and are successful forget that without their audiences they wouldn't be where they are today!

Challenge - this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
You're up for a trial to face your fears or try something new, what would you choose to do and why?
I'd probably choose something to do with heights.  That would push me, and I'd probably end up enjoying it.  What's the trial called when they are in the fake aeroplane and they do the trial whilst in it?  I'd do that, or any trial involving rats as I don't mind them at all!

I tag everyone who reads this post to do this tag.

Send me all the links to your posts - I'd love to read them!
