Blinking Lights Launch Party

I was lucky enough to be contact by Anna Ackred the designer for Blinking Lights Fashion, to join her at the launch party for her range in Hammersmith.

The venue was at Drink Me Eat Me which is an amazing little cafe.

(more on the venue later)

Blinking Lights is an independent fashion label run by London based designer and dressmaker Anna.

The ethos behind the Blinking Lights label is to create simple, elegant and feminine dresses ethically made in the UK from high quality fabrics.

Anna has been designing and dressmaking for several years and recently studied a Fashion Design Course at Central Saint Martins and Womenswear Pattern Cutting and Professional Sewing Techniques at the London College of Fashion.

Blinking Lights offers a variety of styles ranging from vintage-inspired, floral tea dresses to elegant bridal wear.

Anna and I
One of my favourite dresses
Every Blinking Lights garment is designed and handmade in London!

This white dress blew me away!

I adored the ethos behind the brand and how hard Anna works on her collections check out her blog 'Here'
Blinking Lights can be found on Etsy and ASOS 'Here'

The range on Etsy 'Here' is extensive and shows many of the designs that I saw at the launch party.

There are several designs that would make wonderful bridesmaid dresses.  Imagine having your bridesmaid dresses specially made by a UK designer - how special would that be?

Thanks very much to Anna for inviting me, and for being so welcoming.  I think your clothes are amazing and I wish you every success with your business because your designs are beautiful.

The venue was held at Drink me, Eat me -

A frozen yogurt and child friendly haven in Hammersmith offering storytelling to children and dance classes!

This cafe is very feminine, cute and functional and even sells art.

The staff are equally as friendly and I of course adored the pink furniture and chintzy furnishings.

You must definitely check the cafe out next time your in Hammersmith!
