My Birthday Day Three and Four 24/02/12 and 25/02/12 Relaxing one day and Cafe De Paris Wam Bam the next!

So today I thought I would continue on with my birthday blog posts and tell you about all the things I got up to on day three and four of my birthday week.

On Thursday 24th February I just went shopping and chilled out.  Matalan had a sale on so I popped there and generally watched TV and chilled out.

On the Saturday 25th my friend Michelle and I had tickets to go to Cafe De Paris to see Wam Bam which is a Burlesque show / cabaret where you can pay to sit down and eat or you can pay £25.00 and have a 30 minute burlesque lesson which is included in your ticket price and then you have entry to the club, free cloak room and you are able to view the cabaret, and then once the cabaret is over you can then enjoy the club.

Here's a link to Wam Bam's website so you can view the deals on offer 'Here' if you join the newsletter on the bottom of this web page you shall receive £10.00 off booking price.

The video below is taken from the Wam Bam website gives you a good idea on the venue and whats on offer.

Here's my video of Aerialist Circus Latin Jose -

This lavish cabaret show, hosted by Lady Alex, makes the most of the Café de Paris with a resident dance troupe, Cabaret Rouge, as well as a rotating line-up of smooth acts. With burlesque from Miss Polly Rae, musical comedy duo Raymond & Mr Timpkins, barbershop trio Scales of the Unexpected and aerialism from Circus Latin Jose.

My favourite act from this show was comedy duo Raymond and Mr Timpkins I was laughing so much I was crying!  If I ever get married these guys are coming to my wedding and performing!

You can find more about this act by clicking 'Here' they were worth the entrance price on they're own.

We also had our photo taken with Polly Rae which was lovely of her considering she must of been tired from performing two acts on the night.

I definitely enjoyed my first burlesque experience and would recommend anyone going.  I am pleased I never opted for the dinner as that works out quite expensive but I have been told the food is good?

Have you ever been to a burlesque evening?

I will post about Carluccio's and what else I have been up to, and all the lovely presents I received.

Thanks for watching and reading and please Subscribe!

Hugs

Claire
