It's been 5 years and a month since I first signed up with Blogger and created PinkChickClaire 💗💗And, not a day goes by that I don't thank my best friend for telling me to "start my own blog"
But that was then and this is now...
I've wanted to change my Blog name for years!!
I always felt embarrassed when people asked me the name of my blog - and I really felt like I'd outgrown the girly pinkness.
I really felt that the name of my blog sounded like it was written by a 14 year old school girl!
(Not like there's anything wrong with being 14, and at school!!) but you catch my drift.
I've toyed with many blog names in the past few years, I REALLY wanted to call my blog "Claire Elizabeth" - compiling both my first and second names, but this name was already taken - so it was back to the drawing board!
Then came Bruno Mars...
THIS album rocks, but this song totally rocks my world!
Listening to this song I thought to myself why not call my blog a play on words?!
I only blog about products that I actually LIKE - So there it was, in front of my face - my new blog should be called something that means something to me, something that I can talk to you about and share my loves about everything that I like!
Thanks Bruno, you inspired me!
So, here's to many more years of Blogging, meeting all of you lovely people, working with great brands and building this little bit of the internet for us all.
I can actually say that I am proud of my blog name, I am actually writing about things that I LIKE, and I will continue to do this, and have done for the past 5 years - but this time I intend to do it with more gusto and hopefully make you all proud!
So you can catch me on That's What I like on all of my social media platforms still.
Although these are all changing to my new blog name, but if you still search for PinkChickClaire as I'm still re-directing everything to my new name so that's fine too.
So welcome on board! There will be a whole new blog design in the next few weeks too.. so it would be good to have your feeback once that happens.
