‘Dress Your Housemate’ - With RedSquareClothing.co.uk

So as you  may already know I live with a guy (friend), who loves clothes as much as I do.
So when I stumbled across Red Square Clothing we had a look through and put many items into the online shopping basket.  Before we go through everything and place the order with what my housemate wants I thought I would provide you with some back ground information on Red Square Clothing, so that you may also spread the word on this amazing online shop!

Their website is easy to use, and looks as stylish as their store in Middlesbrough! (Not that I have been but you can see by the photos below)

About Red Square
Red Square started life in may of 1990 tucked away on the outskirts of Middlesbrough's town centre. Their policy was to try and offer something different than their competitors; they wanted to guard against churning out fashion clones and instead offer a look that was cutting-edge without being to wacky.

They managed to do this by finding up-and-coming brands from around the world. Their policy enabled Red Square to build up a loyal customer base and over the years these customers have helped Red Square grow into one of the finest retail spaces in the UK.
Red Square relocated in 1995 to large, more central premises and in 2004 undertook the biggest shop refit to date for Red Square. They extended their shop over two floors, and in the process doubled the floor space.
The aim of the shop refit was to keep it nice and simple with clean lines running throughout the shop and in doing so let the clothes do the talking and not the shop fit, this was also the brief with their on-line shop.
The aim was to make shopping online at Red Square as easy as possible for customers.
Red Square is an official stockist of all the brands listed on their website and they do not sell factory seconds or grey market goods.
I really liked Red Squares philosophy and the way they look after the brands stocked by them both online and in store.

Red Square's brand base covers many that I have never heard of before - this initially drew me to the website and then made me want to share my discovery with my housemate who I knew would appreciate the unusual brands on offer.

Brands include -

Here are some of the brands which my housemate loves -
Pretty Green

Launched in June 2009 Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green clothing label has fast become one of the most respected menswear brands on the market. In only a few short years Pretty Green has achieved a phenomenal amount of success and adulation from both customers and critics alike. In fact, the classic Pretty Green logo t-shirt has now become one of the most familiar pieces available.

The flagship Pretty Green store was opened on Carnaby Street in 2010, with stores in Manchester and Glasgow following shortly after. Today Pretty Green has outlets in almost every major UK city, proving that the demand for quality apparel, by rock and roll’s greatest front man, knows no bounds.

Pretty Green Bandana T-Shirt in white, made from 100% Egyptian cotton.

Featuring a crew neck with a blue Pretty Green, bandana print around lower body.

We loved the detailing of this T-shirt, not only has it a feminine twist to it but it also screams boho chic, I have never seen a T shirt with this detailing before.

The T shirt above is £44.99 and is available by clicking 'Here'

Pretty Green Union Jack Apple Logo T-Shirt in black, made from 100% jersey cotton.
Featuring a crew neck collar and a large signature Pretty Green chest logo in a union jack apple design.

I like how patriotic of this T shirt with the Union Jack detailing and the funky apple!
It definitely stands out from the crowd.  This T shirt is available for £44.99 by clicking 'Here'

Carhartt

Detroit, 1889, and a young man named Hamilton Carhartt has just founded a company which would become the most influential work-wear clothing brand of all time. Carhartt immediately set the standard for innovative design and exceptional standards of quality, durability and comfort.
This philosophy behind creating unique designs, alongside quality and comfort, also extend into Carhartt’s street-wear range. Their desire to support artists, musicians, and urban sports, such as BMX and skateboarding, has seen the brand create their own teams for such events as The Rebel Jam and European Skateboard Championships.

Carhartt Pocket Camo T-Shirt in black, made from 100% cotton. Featuring a single camo pocket on left chest. Finished off with a small woven Carhartt script logo.

I love the funky army print pocket of this T shirt, my housemate has said that this would go with lots of things and can be dressed up by a necklace.  This T shirt is available by clicking 'Here' and is reasonably priced at £29.99

Carhartt Military Watch in silver with 2 changeable nylon straps.
Featuring a nylon canvas belt style fasten with a metal buckle, silver dial with green fluorescent markings, a red "second" time indicator and pop out button for time adjustment. Finished off with a Carhartt engraved logo on the reverse face and arriving in a black presentation case.
My housemate loves this watch because it comes with two interchangeable straps meaning that you get twice the wear out of it.  It would also make a lovely gift, as the presentation box is very smart.
This watch is available by clicking 'Here' and is priced at £63.99 not a high price for what essentially is two watches!
Herschel Supply Co Brand Profile
In the early 1900’s a barrel maker from Scotland, named Peter Alexander Cormack, immigrated to Canada and set up business in a small town. To this day Peter’s grandchildren still live in that very same town and run the family business. However, the company is no longer in the barrel business.

Herschel Supply Co is now a quality bag and backpack brand which is globally respected for their high quality products and innovative designs. Herschel takes its inspiration from all manner of lifestyle situations such as ‘vintage mountaineering’, American heritage’ and ‘world travel and fashion’.
The Anchor iPad sleeve is THE perfect companion to safeguard one of the most precious gadgets in your life. Stylishly designed by the Herschel Supply Co. team the Anchor is fully padded and fleece lined for optimum protection.
My housemate loved the army print fabric of this Ipad sleeve - we have never seen anything like this before.  This Ipad sleeve is available by clicking 'Here' for £24.99 I also love the fact that this is a British brand!
The Survey backpack is a simple, yet elegant design by Herschel Supply Co.
Herschel has stated that the inspiration for the Survey backpack came from some of the first generation scouting bags. An updated version for the modern generation stays true to the original roots of the scouting bag. An inside sleeve pocket and magnetic closures keep this minimalist design to a perfect minimum.
Size: 17” (H) x 13.75” (W) x 2.75” (D), 10.5L
We absolutely loved the style of this backpack, and the paisley lining.
So much did we love it we are very tempted to buy one each!  The backpack is available by clicking 'Here' for £54.99
So that concludes my housemates wish list or to be honest what he has already got inside his online shopping basket!!  I really like Red Square Clothing.
